Happy TubaThanksgiving!

Post by Dave Detwiler »

I'm looking forward to playing in my first TubaChristmas in almost 30 years, but as one who has recently returned to playing again, I wanted to give thanks to God this day for the gift of music - and for the ability and opportunity to make music on such a wonderful instrument.

Happy TubaThanksgiving to you all!
Played an F. E. Olds 4-valve BBb in high school (late '70s)
Led the USC Trojan Marching Band tuba section (early '80s)
Now playing an F. Schmidt (=VMI) 3301 and goofing around
on a 1927 Pan American 64K Sousaphone Grand
