Mouthpiece selection

Post by SousaSaver »

I have posted on my blog about mouthpiece selection.

http://sousacentral.blogspot.com/2010/1 ... worst.html

The point of the article was to be somewhat vague, but to provide enough information for people to try stuff themselves and be able to make up their own minds. I don't like to make statements about subjective things that might mislead people.

This being said, have I missed the mark anywhere? If so, check it out, and let me know if there is anything, content or format that I might be able to improve.

Thanks -

Hi and thanks for the post. I can't comment (yet) on the content, because I haven't been able to read it. While the background photo is fun to look at, it's impossible to read light colored text on top of it. To read it, I'll have to copy all the contents and paste it into notepad or something.

I checked the blog on a few different computers and didn't have any trouble reading it myself. I will ask a few other people and see if they have any issues reading it. Thanks for letting me know so I can adjust!

The first several times I navigated your link the translucent black was not loading so I saw the text directly on top of the sousaphone. Looking at the source for the site, the black comes from separately loaded .pngs (eg, bg_black_50.png). It's likely that downloading those was delayed for some reason.
