Event in NH with Baadsvik, Frey, Alessi, Myers and Everson

Post by BVD Press »

Dear All,

I would like to make everyone aware a special event happening in New Hampshire on February 26-27, 2011. The event will be held in Claremont, NH at the Claremont Opera House and will feature a great lineup of soloists who will perform, do masterclasses, talk about literature, hang out, etc., etc....

The artists:

Oystein Baadsvik - Tuba
Adam Frey - Euphonium
Joe Alessi - Trombone (NY Philharmonic)
Phil Myers - Horn (NY Philharmonic)
Terry Everson - Trumpet

I am not affiliated with the event directly, but made up the flier with more information:

It should be a great event and I am hoping I can make it. Here is hoping you will make it as well!!

you know, being from NH and having not had a chance to go home in a few years, and since I'll be in NJ just a few days prior to this event.... it'd be hard to not make a road trip happen

Sounds cool, but I'm curious... why Claremont, NH? A bit of a remote location... (Just curious, I mean no disrespect!)

As crazy as it sounds, a new orchestra was born in 2009 and is based at the Claremont Opera House:

They do 4-5 concerts a year and are still kicking even with the economy! I don't know the particulars, etc. This event is part of the series of events for the year. It should be a good time for all!!
