Where to find specs?

Post by dershem »

My tuba is a Conn EEb. Bass 'bone receiver. The only marking other than the name and serial number is "Board of Education NYC 1964".

How would I find out the specs for this horn? Is there a site where I can find out by serial number or something?

Thanks!

You might find something to match on the Conn Loyalist.... http://www.xs4all.nl/~cderksen/

Posting a picture might get some information, too.

Thanks! It appears to be a 14J.
Not bad for $195. :)

Most of us could tell you anything you ever wanted to know if you posted a few pictures and a serial number

I can believe that.
I'll probably have the opportunity to take pictures this weekend.
