Orchestra Rep Lists Help

Post by cbettler »

Hi all, I am doing a statistical project concerning some orchestral audition repertoire and I need some assistance tracking down some of the lists. I have managed to find most of what I need with searches of the regular Tubenet, the archives, and general Google searches, but I am still having trouble with a few. Does anyone have the lists for the Minnesota Symphony, New Mexico Symphony (most recent, 2004?), Philadelphia Orchestra, Rochester Philharmonic (most recent, 2003/2004?), and/or Toledo Symphony auditions. Please send me a PM or email me at chris.bettler8822@gmail.com" target="_blank. Thanks for any help!

The Minnesota Symphony is called the Minnesota Orchestra. You should be able to contact them at minnesotaorchestra.org and get what you need.

You want to contact the Orchestra Librarian at each organization. They are the people who prepare the audition excerpts and should have a list of what was last used.
See: http://www.mola-inc.org/index.html" target="_blank
Go to membership and click on the Librarians name to show their email.
Remember that orchestra librarians are very busy and overworked, so they may take some time to respond or may never have time to answer. For the most part they are the best friend a player can have in the orchestra.
