Walter Sear duets
Hi I was wondering where can I buy the Walter Sear's books for the advanced tuba duets? I can't really find it in any of my normal buying music places. Thank you for your opinion.

Re: Walter Sear duets
Here are the facts as I know them:
Both sets were originally published by Cor. Cor was sold to Wiltshire a few years back. Something happened and Walter went to Wiltshire to let them know Cor did not have the right to sell his duets to Wiltshire. Before Walter passed away, he regained the rights to the duets. I spoke with him about a month before he passed away about possibly getting them back in print. Unfortunately he passed away before we were able to speak again and we never got past the initial talking phase.
I don't know the family and have no idea on the status of them now. You might find them on the shelf of a store, but there currently is not a publisher and new copies are not readily available.
If anyone knows Walter's family, it would be worth making an inquiry about availability as these duets are a whole lot of fun to play and many of us were brought up through the years playing them with our teachers and others.

hmmm...although " listed" in Hickeys online catalogue, they are not currently available, I have placed an order , but they did not have a listed publisher , nor supplier and suspect to find that they are indeed, out of print and unavailable..
