Big Lebowski: "Obviously you're not a golfer" and "Those are good burgers." But SO MANY good ones from that movie. (The line on the rug pulling the room together is very good, just not my favorite.)

O Brother Where Are Thou: "I don't get it, Big Dan."

Intolerable Cruelty: "You want tact, call a tactician. You want an a$$ nailed, you call Gus Petch."

Obviously I'm a Coen Brothers fan. But I also love this one: Empire Strikes Back: "I know."

I love short lines that are perfect in context. I think all of these apply.

not a single line but one of the funniest bits....

Tower voice: Flight 2-0-9'er cleared for vector 324.
Roger Murdock: We have clearance, Clarence.
Captain Oveur: Roger, Roger. What's our vector, Victor?
Tower voice: Tower's radio clearance, over!
Captain Oveur: That's Clarence Oveur. Over.
Tower voice: Over.
Captain Oveur: Roger.
Roger Murdock: Huh?
Tower voice: Roger, over!
Roger Murdock: What?
Captain Oveur: Huh?
Victor Basta: Who?

Countless ones in The Shining. Among them -

Here's Johnny!

You've had your whole ****ing life to think things over. What good's a few minutes more going to do you now?

Little Pigs! Little Pigs! Let me come in! Not by the hair of your chinny chin chin? Then I'll huff, and I'll puff, and I'll blow your house in!

Memorable lines (to me anyway) from:

Princess Bride: "As you wish."

Pitch Black: "Looks clear."

Poltergeist: "This house is clean."
