Need to find a new repair tech in Houston, TX

Post by TubaBobH »

I think it is time to replace my metal piston guides with some new nylon guides, and the gentleman I have trusted to take care of my King 1241 for years here in Houston, Terry Ghiselli, has moved to Bastrop, TX. Can any of our esteemed TubeNet members recommend some good repair techs here in the Houston metro who could do this work (and future work when needed). Thanks in advance guys.

Hi,
There are two places on the north side of town that I trust to work on my horns. The first is H&H Music on 1960. They're just west of I-45. The staff is very friendly and can usually get it done the same day or by the next day. Their prices are really fair and the work is top notch.
The other is a private repairman that works out of his house. In efforts to NOT slap his info up on the board I'll PM you the number if that's the route you want to go. Again, he's a great guy to work with and his prices are VERY reasonable.

Good luck!
