Would make an impressive collectors item and wonder how it plays? Impressively light at only 6kg - that is only 2.5kg more than the F travel tuba!
Reminds me when I visited shop in Austria. I tried the stock tubas of B&S, Melton and Cerveny, then the shop owner showed me his own very old Kaiser which he had behind the counter ready to take to band to play after work. That was similarly VERY LIGHT, even against the lightly built Cerveny - and when I blew, to me it played even better than the Fafner I had just tried!
