Graduate Tuba Recital in Milwaukee

Post by josh_kaprun »

Hello All,

I am going to be performing my graduate tuba recital this Sunday, April 17th at 7:30pm in the Recital Hall at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Program is as follows:

6-Pack for Solo Tuba - James Meador
Concerto for Tuba and Strings - Arild Plau
Triplets Version 2 for Tuba and Laptop with Ableton Live - me
*intermission*
Going Down for Tuba and CD - Andy Scott
Little Fugue in G Minor - Bach
Carnival of Venice - Arban (arranged to have a brass quartet accompaniment by Jason Ausban, the horn player in my quintet ... VERY different and cool arrangement)

Admission is free. The program should be fun for the whole family, so bring friends! Even non-brass players should enjoy it! Hope to see you all there.
