My Great Mouthpiece Safari (Take 3)

I've been searching for the best mouthpiece for my Shilllerberger 191 clone for the last two month now.

So far I've found the Denis Wick 1 is giving the best balance between a solid full bottom end and a vibrant mid and upper range.

I've tried;
Bobo Symphonic had a great bottom but weaker in the mid range.
Marc. 3W had great mids and highs but lost out on the bottom.
PT-44 had great bottom but not as good upper range.

Anybody have a good recommendation?

The Denis Wick 1 seems to be working well for you - better than the other mouthpieces you were using on your tuba. I don't quite understand what you are looking for? Could you help us out?

Hi!
All kidding aside, don't forget to try each mouthpeice with a tuner, and have a qualified listener or two evaluate your sound. You may be surprised at the feedback your listeners provide. And remember to evaluate each mouthpeice in a room large enough to allow your sound tp fully develope.Low ceilings cause a muting effect on your sound.
