So this Tuba is in F and what looks like high Bb?

I think this is a cool horn, but what would the purpose be? You can't use it for a traditional style BBb. It is going to be far heavier than a common F. Other than a collectors item, unless this horn plays all other F's under the table (which it probably doesn't) it's just that: a collectors item.

The concept of this tuba is flawed. The shift valve is before the 4 main valves. As the BBb extension with its compensating loops has a larger bore than the F side, there will be a retrograde step-bore when the shift valve is engaged. The interval of a fifth between the pitches also causes problems, as there is no exact fingering for lowB natural. It is 2+4 on both sides of this tuba. Not the worst problem but one would assume that double instruments offered at least theoretical precise fingering for all notes but for in the extreme low ranges (like the 3+1 compers have 2 inherently faulty notes right above the pedal note of the open instrument).
