At about the time you posted I was having a great time at Jazzfest New Orleans - it was a great weekend for hot Sousaphone action ( Kirk Joseph back with Dirty Dozen, Matt Perrine in several groups, Jon Gross of Panorama Jazz Band, Tom Saunders on tuba and double bass in several groups in the Quarter, John Altieri of Red Baraat, and many other young players in various street/sousaphunk brass bands! )
