Bowling ball FS.
I wasn't too sure where to put this but I was cleaning up and I was wondering if anyone would like to buy a bowling ball for around $80.00. It's a Brunswick c-system alpha max one of the newer balls from Brunswick I only used it a couple times.

It has 3 holes in it. The ball is for a right handed bowler but can be easily re-drilled. I am not too about the spread but it is a 15lb ball.

I used to manage engineering at an automobile horn factory. There was a bowling alley adjacent to the plant. One day a massive pile of bowling balls appeared on their back lot. Apparently they had just replaced all of the 'house' balls with new ones. I tried and tried to figure out a use for all of those bowling balls! It just seem to crazy to just put them in a landfill. I still wonder what I might have done with them had I carted off a couple of pickup loads of them.

Your best bet is to take it to the to shop at your local bowling center, and let them sell it for you. There is a decent market for used bowling balls, but it can be a little hard to find. Just like tuba players, bowlers can be total equipment geeks. Some of the guys in the league I used to be in showed up with 3 or 4 different bowling balls, each for different lane conditions. It gets pretty crazy. I quit that league when I realized that I, as a once-a-week recreational bowler with a 150 average, couldn't possibly compete with those guys, even though it was supposed to be a light, non-competitive league.

I actually gave that some thought. Folks who roar up and down Edgewood Drive adjacent to my property have little knowledge of where the road ends and the lawn starts. I figured I could simply put them where I wanted them and nature would 'stomp' 'em down a bit.bloke wrote:Dan,
You could have lined your driveway with them - burying them halfway into the ground.

Don't forget to paint them white, or else they would look simply tacky.TubaTinker wrote:I actually gave that some thought.
