I got this little guy a couple days ago. It plays really well even though the valves have a fair amount of wear and I had to rig a couple of slides. It's like a Ferrari compared to my King BBb. I'm not sure about intonation (it has good partials and scale by ear) as I was only home long enough to get a few hours sleep last night.

Took a bit of cleaning up, but it turned out pretty well. Would anyone happen to have a main and 3rd slide for one of these? I'm probably going to have to do something about the valve stems and finger buttons (current ones are soldered in). I don't think the buttons are original. I can't find any good pictures of originals either. I also need to learn to repair dents...well in instruments at least. Something tells me it's different than working on dents in cars.
Cleaning was a 3 step process. And note, I had nothing to lose.
1) dishwashing liquid, water, plastic brush (getting rid of various goo and bugs) ... 5 minutes
2) acid based wheel cleaner and plastic brush, full strength (CYA statement: fairly dangerous, I'll have to check the MSDS but I'm pretty sure it contains HF and other acids...probably H2SO4...maybe HNO3...and surfactants/wetting agents...you don't want to get HF on you, it can absorb into your skin and interfere with your metabolic calcium and kill you, it doesn't severely burn like other acids), the wheel cleaner did the majority of the work ... about 10 minutes @ 70 F
3) silver polish (used about a t-shirt worth of rags and strips) ... about 4 hours relaxed pace while watching Big Bang Theory season 1, eating dinner, hanging out with the family, and drinking cheap beer
I tried just using silver polish, but quickly discovered that although it worked well, it was going to take my entire wardrobe of t-shirts and the whole weekend.

If the picture doesn't display correctly, you can right click and "view" or "save as" and use windows picture viewer. Hopefully that will work. I won't be able to measure the slides until Wednesday. Are there any picture size guidelines I should know about on Tubenet?

Perhaps you could post some measurements for the slide that you need?
Art: If you have Windows, in the lower right corner of the screen, just click on the "100%" and reduce it to "75%" and you'll be able to see the entire horn.
