Re: Tubby/Danny Kaye
George Boujie tubaist with the MGM studio orchestra played tuba for the Danny Kaye Tubby. Jim Self owns George's old York 4/4 CC tuba that was used on the Tubby recording (as well as 100s of motion pitures and many Flintstones cartoons!). I played this tuba since it's restoration (by Lee Stofer) and it's a WONDERFUL tuba.Wes Krygsman wrote:Who played the tuba parts on the old old Tubby the Tuba recording(orchestra version) with Danny Kaye narrating and singing?
