Hi everyone,
A little more than a month ago, I put on my junior recital. Now, it's not perfect understatement of the century, but probably could have been a lot worse.
The set list was:
Three Songs for Tuba and Soprano, Rodger Vaughan
III Recital
Tubby the Tuba, Klesinger
(reduction of the band version arranged by me)
Bydlo
(arrangement based on the M. Dee Stewart cd)
Horn Concerto #1 in Eb, Strauss
(intermission)
Fnugg, Baadsvik
Concerto in One Movement, Lebedjew
Czardas, Monti
I know that I'm not Pat Sheridan or Roger Bobo, but I feel this represents some of my best effort from the past year. Enjoy!

Thanks! Downloading now. Will listen tomorrow while beating dents out of Sousaphones.
Very cool program. It's a nice selection of cool literature.

Cool deal! I'll download them and have something to listen to on the 3 hour ride back to the office tomorrow. I'll be sure to have the first piece cranking when I pull into the parking lot. That ought to get some looks!

Nice job! I really enjoyed the arrangement of Bydlo.
What kind of horn did you use when recording this?

Thanks! We were still improving some of those arrangements the week leading up to my recital, but I'm very happy with how they turned out.
Tubas...My teacher has been letting me use his Yamaha YFB822, and that was the axe of choice on everything except Fnugg and the Lebedjew, where my CB50 burned it up.
