I just read a very interesting report about Online-Printing-Services for 3D-Objects in a german computer-magazine (c't):
You upload a file, they build or print that Thing, whatever it is, and send it to you.
http://www.shapeways.com is one of them, they offer a wide range of materials (even stainless steel).
Of course my first thought was "print my own unique mouthpiece"!
