Conn 5j playing very flat
I have 3 school 5j older tubas. Students and teachers can't play them in tune especially on f and Bb. Should I get rid of them? I can't afford to but I don't think I can buy new ones either. They are built sturdy which is good for young players. Is there person that can fix a problem like this? We have many other tuba brands that do very well. Thanks for reading.....
Thanks!

Note that there are THREE instruments involved here. That might limit the kind of things to consider.
I would start to think about pistons swapped among the 3 (same model) tubas. But, that's just me.

Re: Conn 5j playing very flat
Thanks for the info. Do any of you know why I am having trouble posting pics of the 2 horns I have for sale? It tells me my pics are too big and I'm having to ask for message so I can email them to interested people (although, none yet). I have posted on other sights with no problem. I am taking them with a new HTC inspire 4g. Any thoughts?
Thanks!

Hi!
Is there a menu allowing you to change picture size? Or try emialing the pics to your PC first!
The guy who does my website has a Mac, and it is super easy to change dimension(s) of any pic using Apple's software!

Limits are not by pixels, but by kb. 256kb specifically.
I am on a Danish Mac system, so my terms may be a bit off.
In Preview you can adjust the size of .jpg files by means of a sliding bars in the Save As window.
Or you can go to the Tools menu and choose Change Size. This forum isn’t too happy with pictures much wider than 640 or 720 pixels anyway, as the right sidebar will be pushed off screen on most portables.
