Loudest Band in the World

This highly insightful article (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loudest_band_in_the_world) made me wonder why they didn't include trombone choirs. Then it hit me that the article was discussing music.

Figures that a band like KISS 'turned it up to 11'. (They are the noise champs currently.)

Those aren't the loudest bands, those are the loudest amplifiers.
