Case modifications
How difficult is it to modify the interior of a case such as viewtopic.php?f=4&t=44319 to fit another tuba such as my 983? This is about the right size both for the tuba and the back of the pick-up with a tonneau cover but not sure about modifications to make the horn fit. Thanks!

Re: Case modifications
I took a case to Anvil for a refit. It was about $200, and it normally takes several weeks.

Re: Case modifications
I've modified a couple, the most recent being a SKB Euph case. The fabric was completely glued to the foam (not just spot glued) so it was easier to completely remove the foam block and chip away at the appropriate places a little at a time without disturbing the fabric. Serrated steak knife worked well! Good Luck!

Take a picture of the approximate case and we can help you out.
