I'll see if Dave Barduhn is still in Portland!
Or maybe I'll just grow a little ambition and do an arrangement myself! Sorry about the JinBao commercial, Joe! I hope it wasn't one of my guys!

That's great to hear!
I played hand written Drum and Bugle corp arrangements by Dave in the '80's, and the Jazz Choir at Central had a lot of his arrangements done during his tenure in Ellensburg. Those were the glory years, when the Central Jazz Band and Choir owned their divisions at the Berkely Festival

Re: We want it.
There are some things that should be left alone and not transcribed. Parliament/Funkadelics is one of them. Brass quintet is WAY too square to handle "Tear The Roof off the Sucker" (Give up the Funk)--That's the actual title of the song btw. The Mothership Connection is just way too deep man.

Hey!
I can make my Tuba sound as "funky" as I want! And I play with some cats who are anything BUT square!!!! The horn player joins the two trumpeters in a number of local Jazz groups on 3rd Trumpet, and the Trombone player reminds me of the greatest player (IMHO) I ever heard, Bruce Fowler!
