I have been using the MF3B on my Willson3050 for about a year. The intonation is very goods and the sound is very similar to a Yorkbrunner. I started out with the MF3 (which worked better with my Amati), but didn't give me enough feedback from the Willson. One of my students bought it and is using it on his Alex 163 and it sounds awesome. It even seems to clean up some of the intonation issues on that instrument. I like it and Mike is great to deal with.

Low range is very well in tune and slots real well. The MF3 was a little more velvety sounding down there (and all around) but didn't project as well on the willson. I found the 3H to be very similar to the 1st Monette (which I played for 5 years). It was easiest to grab the low register but I didn't like the sound. Mike says this MP has more presents and that is really the best way to describe it from my perspective. I played Pictures Tuesday night, and got a lot og complements from the 8 bass players.
I hope that helps
