I heard this from the Bolzano Conservatory brass ensemble in Italy and have tried to find the publisher information, to no avail so far. I wrote to the director of the ensemble, Marco Pierobon, and the manager for his quintet, Gomalan Brass, but have gotten no answer [a language difficulty?].
Sounds like a nice piece, well-arranged and I'd like to try it if I can find it. Any ideas?
Thanks!

If the arrangement isn't authorized by the owner of the original copyright, then it is small wonder you get no answers in any language.

There is that, Klaus! I don't know that to be the case, but it would be nice to know where I might find it.imperialbari wrote:If the arrangement isn't authorized by the owner of the original copyright, then it is small wonder you get no answers in any language.

Such groups as the one in the are too few to support a commercial edition. They may get away with an unauthorized arrangement of their own for an in-house performance. Distributing it is bound to cause them problems.

It looks like there are several other Youtubes of very similar brass band arrangements (from several different countries. ) I bet any good music store in the northern part of England would have some similar chart for sale. Or at an on-line store. (this was just the first one that popped up in Google - there are dozens more.)
However, there is no way of knowing if any would be exactly that arrangement - most of the store websites don't off a preview mode

It sounds a lot like an arrangement the quintet I play with uses (although they may all sound the same
). I think it is this one found here : http://www.justmusicuk.com/spweb/detail ... no=JM38011" target="_blank

Thanks for the replies. I did find a similar arrangement from a Belgian publisher [supposed to be available from Dick at Solid Brass], but it DID offer a sound sample and it just didn't swing like the other one. I'll keep digging.

Which is why I'm surprised that the conductor is the one who put it up on YouTube. Why ask for trouble? Maybe he will actually get back to me?imperialbari wrote:Such groups as the one in the are too few to support a commercial edition.
