Need info on brass showroom around San Francisco, CA

Post by Dean E »

I will be looking for a showroom with low brass and French horns in the San Francisco area, please. I'll be visiting there next weekend.

Thanks, Dean E

There is a lot to check out at Hornucopia in San Carlos (south of SF on 101 about 15 miles.) Mostly used and vintage, in various conditions and prices. I have purchased many interesting instruments there.

Best Music in Oakland usually has interesting stuff, 1716 Broadway, Oakland (510) 832-2024 and also A & G Music 564 14th Street, Oakland (510) 832-0381
I have not been to San Francisco Union Music Company in many years, they did have a lot of brass.

There are a few others but I cannot give much useful information on them (or all they have is basic school band brass.)

You might want to think about a trip down to So Cal to see the http://www.hornguys.com/. Give them a call to see what they have available.
