ITEC 2005

i'm probably just looking in the wrong places but i cant find any information on this years itec anywhere. can some of you help?

i've searched that page already and i've seen many of the itea events, but i'm just looking for info about the ITEC conference. i'm guessing it's probably in budapest again but i can only find the ITEC2004 info.

ITEC has become a once every two year event.... on the off years there are the regional conferences that you see talked about. So since 2004 was an ITEC year you will need to wait until 2006 for the next one. And no it will not be back in Budapest.... it will more than likely be somewhere here is the states. The regional conferences are really great so you should definitely consider checking one close to you out.

thanks. i didn't know that ITEC was an every two year event.

for a while they had it every year, but the ITEA exec. committee believed it to be better to have it evey two years to help with attendance and keep interest high. Also the regional conferences give a great opportunity for both conference goers and performers alike to perform in front of "tuba/Euph fanatics" that they might not normally get to see.

I also believe but do not quote me that ITEA decided to have every other ITEC here in the US since this is where attendance is generally at its highest.
