I shall be stopping in Washington DC this weekend (early Friday to Sunday afternoon) on my way home from Central America. I have already booked a ticket for the NSO concert on Saturday (Pictures at an Exhibition, Grieg and more), but I was wondering whether there are any other interesting tuba or brass related events taking place during the weekend.
Any ideas?

My 8 piece jazz group "Swingtopia" is playing Friday night in Alexandria VA, at the Carlyle Club. No tuba---- it's trumpet, trombone (me), 3 saxes, and rhythm section.
