I am excited to announce auditions for the tuba/euphonium studio at the University of Central Florida for the 2012-2013 school year.

UCF offers programs for the BM, BME, BA, and MA degrees.

As a student, you will have the opportunity to attend a new state of the art Performing Arts Center and the chance to study with esteemed faculty and a wide range of performing ensembles, including orchestra, wind ensemble, concert bands, jazz bands, marching band, tuba/euph ensemble, brass quintets, and many more.

Located in Orlando, UCF offers a chance to be in close proximity to the theme parks/attractions, orchestras such as the Orlando Philharmonic, the national champion Brass Band of Central Florida, a vibrant and diverse arts community, and a healthy environment for K-12 music education. Not to mention you'll be in sunny FL and within easy driving distance to either the Gulf or Atlantic beaches, as well as cities like Tampa, Sarasota, and Jacksonville.

Audition dates for admission and scholarship are Nov. 19 (early admission), Jan. 28, Feb. 11, and Feb. 25. An additional admission only audition date will be held on April 14.

Scholarships are available for both in-state and out-of-state students.
