SpongeBob is asexual!
For those of you who actually care about the sexual orientation of a cartoon character...

One of the Christmas gigs I do is to help provide a little music for a Santaland sponsored by a local not-for-profit. Each year they have a team of characters such as Big Bird, Elmo, Barney and his goofy sidekick, and a host of others. This years they added Sponge Bob. Well.... I don't ordinarily go 'round hugging cartoon characters but it's pretty much traditional with this event to mix with them. I never figured out exactly what Sponge Bob looked like underneath the sponge but one thing's for certain... Sponge Bob was a very well endowed member of the female species. Maybe more of a Sponge Bob-ette!

Now, I've heard of "furries"... would this stuff be the realm of "spongies"?TubaTinker wrote: I never figured out exactly what Sponge Bob looked like underneath the sponge but one thing's for certain... Actually.... Sponge Bob-ette spent most of the late afternoon in a tavern next door to Santaland soaking up Amber Bock!MomOfSampson wrote:So, tell me, how many times did you hug SpongeBob? does this mean spongebob goes both ways?betsynaper wrote:If anybody really cares...
http://www.oceanicresearch.org/sponges.htmlMost sponges are hermaphroditic (having both sexes in one), but produce only one type of gamete per spawn. (i.e. some play the male role and the other plays the female role, even though they are both capable of playing either role).
im sorry i couldn't resist
