...the way you feel affects your tuba - or any instrument for that matter - playing at all? (e.g. euphoria, depression, anxiety, frustration etc.)

It absolutely makes a difference. If my plan is successful, however, I may be the only one who is aware of the difference. In other words, I try to be as consistent as is possible.

I don't know that how I feel- emotionally or physically- affects my playing but I do know playing can and usually does put me in a better mood and feeling better.
