Completely random and odd question.
Is the 980 bell a direct solder on to the 983? Just what effect would this have on the horn?
(who has access to a cheap 980 bell and would probably give it a shot for kicks if it was a direct connect)

I thought, or was pretty sure at least, that the 980 has a 17" bell and the 983 has a 19" bell... I could be wrong, but if I am, the Besson website is wrong, as well.ken k wrote:i thopught the 980 had the 983 bell on it? the 981 is the larger bell dont know if it would fit but I would think it would.

Then you should be able to put a larger bell (981/2) on a 983...
