The number of wraps leaves it too small to be a BBb and Conn did not make an F (BBb's, Eb's and the very rare CC). Almost every vintage American bass tuba was pitched in some form of Eb (hp, lp, somewhere inbetween) with this one off exception. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=27779&start=0" target="_blankmlorrison911 wrote:jsut curious but how did you know it was an Eb?
Are there any other vintage American F tubas (factory, not later cut) floating around?
