Another mouthpiece question

Post by louish_006 »

This is more like a survey. I am the new owner of a YFB-621 and am just wondering what kind of mouthpieces are popular with this horn. I use a Bobo solo as my F tuba mouthpiece, but I also noticed that due to the small size of the horn, I could also use CC tuba mouthpieces. At the moment, I am not looking for anything really specific as I'd rather get used to the horn for the moment, but I would really appreciate if you guiys that own one could tell me which mouthpieces you use.

Cheers :tuba:

I know a few players who use a Monet 94F. Some also use it with their C tubas. I tried it and wouldn't recommend it...Keep it on an F.
