Thanks to the great efforts of Charley Brighton I am now the proud owner of a 1984 Bossey&Hawkes Imperial euphonium. This is the third Imperial I've owned and is the best one yet. As Charley put it ," ... it blows a dream " ! I've have some time to really get aquainted with it this weekend and it is just superb. Great intotnation, wonderful response and tone from the pedal tones to upper register and the warm, melodius sound you'd expect from a British horn. I'm really looking forward to you and Sue's vist this April. Maybe you can teach me how to play this wonderful horn ! Thanks much Charley.
