The saddest thing is that I know a player who has an undergrad degree in music education (with tuba being his main instrument (ie.he received 4 years of lessons)) that sounds worst than the guy in the video...

I particularly like his rousing rendition of The Munsters Theme in a later addition to this riveting online series. It is, after all, "one of the few tuba solos that's ever existed," according to this fella.

If you fumble and double-click on the video (in Firefox, at least) it will open up a YouTube tab and play both copies at once, a little out of sync with each other. It makes a kind of multiphonic improvement on the whole thing.
