That's just a PT-6P copy. The Chinese can't seem to come up with any original designs - they just copy existing ones.
Hi-

Is that really a 'Copy' of a PT-6P?

Is $50 all it takes? That's great! I've been wondering since I have some commercial ideas.

And isn't Bloke a "50-buck-a-pop sponsor" then? And isn't he trying to make a buck? And aren't his products commonly mentioned in this forum?

Guess I shouldn't ask those questions. They're just more examples of elitism. Really sorry.

Darn. If this post had started last Sunday, I could have gotten some answers for you all and put this to rest. My e-beam unit was worked on last week and I could have used his Geiger counter to check the entire Sam Ash inventory. :D Day late and a dollar short as usual. (seriously)

I just don't get it Bloke. Could you possibly post things that are less relevant to what others are saying? You should take pride in what you do well (which has never been even remotely impugned here). Why spew the nonsense and continue with personal attacks that are completely irrelevant to the issues that have at times reasonably been raised? You know, you and I have very much the same view of academia. It's just that I've actually been in it. I've been there, gotten the tenure, and then left. There are some things to respect in it and some things not to respect in it. Believe me, I know what those are. (Actually, I doubt that you'd find anyone more down on contemporary American academia than I am at the moment.) I've dealt with them both inside and outside for over thirty years. I've got real experience there and real experience in industry. But none of that has anything remotely to do with either Chinese tubas or the quality of your mouthpieces. You're not doing yourself a service by these outbursts.

Government employee? I wish. I'd like to get some of my tax money back. Do a little better investigation. This is not reflecting well on you. I think you're a better man than this.
