You don't need it early. It's quite easy to read...boring, even, some might say.

Is "Carminative" a board auto replacement? I've seen that on other forums. :D

"...boring, even, some might say."
Well, I have played it 3 or 4 times, and I always have had fun with it! (maybe that says something about me...)

I'd say it says that you're not one of the "some" who "might" say the piece is boring for the tuba player.

Todd "amused that 'some might say it's boring' is so often read as 'it's boring' rather than 'a few people think it's boring'" S. Malicoate

There's some stuff to play in this part, not the least of which is the "Ego Sum Abbas" movement, featuring a Gb at the top of the staff, very loud, all by your lonesome. One of those "hero or zero" moments.

Alright, here we go.

(Apologies for continuing the mis-heard lyrics theme).

I've played Carmina Burana on both tuba and piano. Fortunately I only had to play it in rehearsals on piano. I was about three hands under equipped.
