HELP!! I lost a trumpet for Easter

Post by WoodSheddin »

FOUND ONE!!!!

Any of you DC service band guys out there have any new trumpeters in your bands who haven't been snagged up for Easter yet? Somehow one of my trumpeters forgot that he had committed to Easter in my brass quintet almost a year ago and now I am in a SERIOUS bind.

The job pays fairly well but I need a VERY GOOD trumpet for the services on Easter Sunday morning. If you know anyone PLEASE contact me.

UPDATE: I am now offering a $50 finder's fee for anyone who finds me a trumpeter.

thanks

Dude, I think you're hosed. Sorry, that's a tough spot to be in.

I am sooooo screwed. Mark Thiele handed me some numbers but of course they are all booked. One guy in my band told me he got booked 1 week ago. I missed him by 1 freakin week.

Someone shoot me now.

We might have a good player or two. I'll start asking around tomorrow to see if anyone's willing.

Trouble with us is that we'll all be in Arizona and California until the middle of March...

Let me know if you find someone.

I know a guy who plays in the Army Field Band. Don't know if they'll be on tour for Easter, but if you want his email, let me know.
