I had thought about getting a Gard Wheelie Bag. I posted to the forum about the Gard Bag and had lots of input. I thought about it and looked around for something in stock that could just carry the tuba. I was on ebay and saw a Beach Dolly. It is lightweight and I can carry the Mirafone 186 bell up in it's gig bag due to the fabric bottom.
I checked the measurements and ordered one. It was $65 with free shipping and it can hold 200 + lbs while weighing 12 lbs.
It came today. I put it together and pumped up the wheels. I am very happy with it.
Here are some pics.

Very cool! I assume it folds up? Does it fit in the trunk along with your horn? When I started baritone in 5th grade I strapped my instrument to my dad's old golf bag cart to walk it to school. It worked very well! Nice idea!

Yes it folds up.
I have a PT Cruiser so I do not have to take it off of the dolly.
Thanks for the comment.

Can you share the site where you purchased the dolly? It looks like a winner. Carrying 30 lbs or so by an old guy on the back can be quite daunting.

Walmart has them. Less money, somewhat lighter but ample
for my 4/4 Alexander in a top opening gig bag which stays tied
to the dolly.
