Dear Folks,
I've been looking online for some patriotic music for our amateur quintet to play this summer (mostly around the 4th of July). We are specifically looking for the official songs for the armed services (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine, Coast Guard, and Merchant Marines). After spending about 45 minutes wading through all kinds of google searches, I thought I might ask the question, just in case some willing soul has already gone through that painful search and already has found a source.
Thanks in advance
Stu

Re: patriotic music source
Search right here on Tubenet - the topic has been discussed many times. Army, Marines and Coast Guard lead sheets are easy to find, Navy and Air Force not so much. Full band or ensemble arrangements not quite as available. There are piano scores for Navy and Air Force that can be found on some of the university and museum collections, but you have to use the original titles.
There are also stock medley arrangements available (but one that is liked a lot on this list seems to be out of print.)

These are the websites of our own Bryan Doughty. He has literally tons of stuff for you to peruse and is a good guy to work with, too.
