BBQ Newbie

Post by tubajon »

Can any experienced BBQers recommend a good offset smoker for a first purchase (less than $1000)? I'm in the process of creating a bullet smoker now out of a Weber Smokey Joe. Seems like the ones at the home and garden stores are pretty bad...very thin metal etc. Thanks, Jon

I work with a guy who does professional BBQ competitions. At home he has several grills and smokers. His most used equipment is home-made out of cream barrels discarded from a local dairy. I have no idea how he has made them but he produces some amazing food.
