At $9.99 new you can't beat it! I bet mine, being "vintage", is probably worth at least a few thousand... I will have to put it on eBay with a $2,500 reserve and a BIN price of $3,500. I bet I get swamped with bids!

After 35+ years of teaching (public and private), I have RETIRED, although my school wants me to come back 1/2 time. As a present to my big rear end, I persuaded Lee Stofer to exchange a Kanstul 900-4v BBb and an MTS case for some oddly designed paper.

It wouldn't be the first time an orchestra has done this at some public event, true? Unfortunately I can't remember any details at all. Anyway, maybe something to think about at contract time, if musicians have any choice about what they're contractually obligated to do.

Going to a local farmer's market tonight to listen to a local Brass Band(Roman Festival Brass http://www.romanfestivalbrass.org/" target="_blank). While I'm there I'm sure I can find something good to eat!
I am fortunate to have a great job that feeds my family well, but music feeds my soul.
