Miraphone m3 5th conversion to flat whole step?
Has anyone converted the old m3 step 5th valve to a flat whole step? I like the m3, it's just hard to remember when your other horns have the flat whole step.

You might want to ask Norm Eppley, he just did this to the 188 he just sold here. I have also seen another "creative" conversion.
I think it'd be cool to cut it down, but keep yourself with the option for a long 5th slide. I learned on the m3 system, so I'm a big fan.

I've done it to a Miraphone 184 5U... I'll see if I can find a pic; wasn't hard.
