Arnold Jacobs Heritage Mouthpiece?

Post by DudelookingfortheCC »

I just searched for some insight on this mouthpice, but really got nothing in the advanced search. Just the usual advertisement for it.

Has anyone had any experience with these? are they worth a try?

Nothing is wrong with my mouthpiece, but this mouthpiece is very pretty and looks like a good helleberg style piece that sparks my curiosity. I wonder if it could be something sweet to buy.

Mine is great so far. It seems pretty versatile.

Someone more knowledgeable on the subject can correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that it is simply a Helleberg (modeled after the old Conn H) with a drilled out backbore. The story is behind it is explained in Song and Wind
HB-293
1909 Conn Eb
1900 Boosey 3+1 Euphonium

Well if that's the case, it might be pretty good!
