Hello--
I wanted to invite you to attend my tuba recital at LSU's Recital Hall in the School of Music. It will be a week from today, October 5th, at 5:30PM. The program will include the North American Premiere of Fishing for Jormungandr by Corey Knoll and Nick Hwang. This piece was premiered at the International Tuba Euphonium Conference in Linz, Austria this past June. The entire program is as follows:
Sonata in g minor - Henry Eccles (tuba and piano)
Capriccio - Krzysztof Penderecki (solo tuba)
Contraptions - Benjamin Miles (solo tuba)
Fishing for Jormungandr - Corey Knoll & Nick Hwang (two tubas and two GUAists)
Twice Upon Three Times... - Herbert Brun (tuba and bass clarinet)
Funky Nightmare - Jorg Duda (tuba, bass clarinet, and flute)
