Explanations do not mitigate goofiness.
Sincerely,
ginnboonmiller, whose handle concatenates three guitarists whose work particularly struck his fancy in the 1990s, but whose handle is still dumb and often hard to pronounce.

We must be looking at different horns--I don't even see the one you are talking about on eBay.....MikeMason wrote:Pic and description both say 4 front stainless pistons...

Found it-thanks. Yes, model # gave it away--it is a different animal. It is the 734--7 is for BBb, 3 is for 3/4 size, and 4 is for 4 valves. This is the little guy with a 16 inch bell & .730/.750 bore-horn is brand new--price is the same as Dick's price list. The BBb that is a 4/4 or 4.5/4 or 5/4 BBb is the model 744-18" bell, bore is .750/.787, 4 pistons. The #744 is a much larger horn.

Hi-
Having the BMB/Gemeinhardt F, CC, and Don's borrowed BBb ( for upcoming gigs), ---and having played the Eb also, all these horns are just fantastic-plain & simple....
Mark
PS. Have fun with your Eb--great horns!
