Wow, almost a day and no replies. Guess many are afraid of clicking the AOL link. In a nutshell, it lists the top "sexiest jobs" and teachers made that list - even above doctors and lawers. In this post 9/11 era, firefighters topped the list by a long shot.

Yeah, but it was still tough before he got to ride his brontosaurus for the ten miles to school. Up-hill both ways, in the snow.

I echo the sentiments from Doc above in that I would not want to teach at a high school. I do assist with the marching band but I am not there everyday. Obviously the musical end of it is not as satisfying although taking the kids from ground zero to a band concert in May is pretty neat and everyone loves it no matter how good or not so good. Also I have weekends to play gigs outside of my day gig.

Also I will state that some of these young elemtnary school teachers are very sexy! I don';t remember my teachers looking like that! I guess at that time I didn't really care.
