U of Miami Tuba Ensemble Arrangements
I am trying to locate some arrangements performed in the '70's and later by the University of Miami (Florida), specifically "Pavanne" and "Joshua". It is my understanding that the Miami book from back then is missing. Does anyone have copies or knows who does?

Are those arrangements by Connie Weldon? I THINK we might have played the pavane 2 years ago here. 'll try to find them.

Actually it was arranged by Tuck Woo, a student of Connie Weldon. It is on the U. of Miami Tuba Ensemble "Greatest Hits" album.

If you think you played it/them a couple of years ago, do you have any idea where it/they might have ended up? Perhaps Ken Moses or Sam Pilafian may have a suggestion. I've been in contact with Connie Weldon already.

I'm not even sure if the pavane we played was the same one youre thinking of. I doubt Ken Moses knows anything about them since hes the undergraduate dean and spends his time with administration duties. I'll ask Sam though. John Olah, who was the tuba teacher before Sam, didnt know anything about the arrangements and he has a TON of stuff.

Thanks. I think Ken and maybe Sam were both there in the '70's when it was performed (it may have been post-Sam). Regardless of the outcome, I truly appreciate your effort.

Re: U of Miami Tuba Ensemble Arrangements
Some background for this post:
I did not attend U. of Miami, and have never been on that campus.
I have no knowledge of these arrangements, whatsoever.
To the best of my knowledge, I have never seen any of these arrangements.
I don't know any of the people who have posted on this thread.
That being said, this begs the question, "What happened to the arrangements?"
