Thursday Nov 1st episode of the Colbert Report features David Byrne and St. Vincent (with brass band.) The Sousaphone can actually be heard in the mix! Don't know who is playing, probably not John Altieri (as he is on tour in Europe with Red Barrat.)
You can watch the on-line version at http://www.colbertnation.com/full-episo ... t--vincent

That was John Alteri in the Colbert Report performance. (We went to college together back in the day.)
