I've read lots of interesting posts about tuba tinkering and various equipment matters on here over the years. I have a new column in the ITEA Journal called "Nuts n Bolts" which is specifically centered on equipment design and maintenance. I would be very interested in submissions for this column by qualified folks. The issue mailing now has an article on basic cleaning by Joe Sellmansberger. Previous issue had an interview w/ Christian Niedermaier, tuba designer for Miraphone.
We also have a fairly new column highlighting nonprofessional musicians and ensembles.
